# Technology

Battleworld leverages the powerful technology of the blockchain and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to create new gaming and entertainment experiences. As the game's developers, we strongly believe in inclusive gameplay that encompasses cross-platform and cross-blockchain when possible. We want to bring Battleworld directly to our community — wherever they are.

The initial NFT drop for Battleworld will be the [**Genesis Skull Pass**](/battleworld/genesis-skull-pass/introduction-and-minting.md) that will live on the **Ethereum** network. This was done to allow for the greatest amount of adoption into Battleworld. The game will also use the **Polygon (Matic)** and **SKALE** networks to hold assets. We plan to partner with the **DEVVE** blockchain for blockchain transactions This will allow for fast speeds and low transaction fees, while maintaining strong security. We also plan to integrate or randomization processes wherever possible.

The fighting engine that presents all of the action of contests is being built on **Unity**. As the world's most widely used game engine, Unity allows us to scale gameplay cross-platform through mobile/PC and any other platforms quickly. Ultimately, our goal is that you will be able to play Taunt Battleworld on the platforms that you prefer.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://taunt-battleworld.gitbook.io/battleworld/introduction/technology.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
